Little Toller Books is a new bookshop just off the main square in Beaminster, west Dorset, run by the publisher Little Toller, and focusing on books about the natural world and more, for adults and children alike.
The bookshop is staffed and run by the publishing team behind Little Toller Books. We stock every Little Toller title and many more books from publishers also attuned to the natural world, from bestsellers to emerging voices. We stock a range of books from other small, independent presses too, books that you might not usually find in bookshops. We also stock the full range of Dovecote Books - specialising in Dorset's history and its people.
We also have a carefully chosen range of fiction, memoir, travel writing, folklore, gardening, cookery and local books.
In 2022 we were thrilled to be shortlisted as one of the best bookshops in the south-west, at the British Book Awards.
With constantly changing windows and new books arriving all the time, you'll always find something to tempt you.
