The Second Shelf

The Second Shelf is a London bookshop dedicated to books by and about women and non-binary people and to redressing sexism and inequality on collector's shelves and in the literary canon. We focus on selling rare and first editions in our shop, as well as highlighting new feminist press titles, small press titles, new books and zines by writers who have written for us and participated in events with us, and reissues of out-of-print writers who deserve more attention and acclaim.
